What Fun We Had This Summer!

         Zoe feeding Lyrah Sue.

Second meeting with Adam and Niki's baby, Maddy.

Our wounded friend required sugar water from a eye dropper.

Off to the beach. Dad made Spam Musubi. Our favorite beach snack!

            A sunny day at last!

            The Grotto in Portland.

              A warm, sunny 4th!

Zoe and her creativity. She really can think outside the box!

Lots of indoor play (due to a wet, rainy summer). Sure makes for cranky girls!!!

Completing Kai's Room

First we had to decide on a paint color. Brown, green, yellow, blue?

Green won by a majority vote.

Next came the furniture. We were able to purchase all his furniture in Oregon to save on tax!

Zoe still thinks we should name him Kyle rather than Kai. Sorry, Kai it is :(

We hope that he likes dinosaurs like his little sister.

Sophie has given Kai some of her dinosaurs. What a great little sister!

We will let him pick out a chair for his desk and other accessories when he comes home.

Here are the latest photos we have of our little guy (he's not so little!!) We used Redthreadchina.com to send a care package to Kai and a few clothing items to the orphanage he is associated with. Ann did a fantastic job and we have some awesome photos. Enjoy!
